A resume parser reads resume text and organizes details such as work, education, skills, and contact information.
Which files can CareerPal import?+
CareerPal accepts text-based PDF and Microsoft Word DOCX files up to 4 MB.
Can CareerPal read a scanned resume?+
Image-only PDFs may not contain readable text. The current importer does not provide OCR for every scanned file.
Does CareerPal save the result right away?+
No. You can review, edit, and select sections before saving.
Can I import into an existing profile?+
Yes. Choose whether to merge details or replace selected sections.
What happens after the import?+
CareerPal refreshes your profile so the newly saved information appears.
