Terms of Service

You may use Career OS for lawful personal and professional career activities. You are responsible for your account, the accuracy of information you submit, and activity performed through your account.

• Do not access other users’ information or bypass access controls.
• Do not abuse, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service.
• Do not submit malware, unlawful content, or information you lack permission to use.
• Do not use AI features to fabricate credentials, impersonate another person, or make unlawful decisions.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Career OS the limited rights needed to host, process, transform, and display that content to provide the features you request. You are responsible for maintaining copies of important career documents.

AI results may be incomplete or inaccurate and must be reviewed before use. Career OS does not guarantee interviews, employment, compensation, applicant-tracking-system performance, or any other career outcome.

CareerOS Pro is available to eligible markets at the price and billing interval shown before checkout. Nigerian subscriptions are processed securely by Paystack and renew automatically each month or every three months until cancelled. Taxes or fees, when applicable, are disclosed before payment.

You may schedule cancellation from Billing settings. Pro access continues through the current paid period and then returns to Free limits. Cancellation does not delete your profile, resumes, jobs, applications, or portfolio. Payment-method updates and cancellation requests are handled through secure server-side Paystack operations.

Subscription charges are generally non-refundable once a paid period begins, except where required by applicable law or where CareerOS confirms a duplicate or erroneous charge. Contact support promptly with the payment date and account email; do not send card details.

If renewal fails, CareerOS may provide a three-day grace period while you update your payment method. When the grace period ends without successful payment, the account returns to Free limits while your saved content remains stored.

We may restrict or end access for security risks, unlawful activity, material violations, or harm to the service or others. You may stop using Career OS at any time and may request account deletion through the contact page while self-service deletion is being completed.

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Career OS is a productivity tool, not legal, financial, immigration, employment, or professional recruiting advice. Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

We may update the service and these terms. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised terms.
